Alkmaar Railway Signaling (ARS) is a multinational company focused on global transportation issues, especially in the areas of rail and road transport. ARS specialises in Train Control, Railway Signalling and Road Traffic Management Systems. ARS provides a full range of services, from consultancy services to engineering detailed design activities, equipment supply, installation and testing and commissioning services.

ARS has been awarded copyrights for Vital Railway Signalling Products, including Point Machines, Signals and Level Crossings. To date, we have supplied point machines, level crossings and railway signals to countries throughout Asia & Africa. We have also supplied Telecommunications systems to Tanzania & train control system to Sri Lankan Railways.

ARS provides engineering solutions to the Australian Railway Industry and has partnered with numerous contractors, rail operators and local authorities.

ARS is a global engineering partner of General Electric transport for projects such as, Rotterdam Metro & The stockholm tram projects.
